I Am

Truth emerges in places most unexpected
and those you would never have chosen.

The deepest ache can be 
the secret hiding place
that holds the map to this truest Truth

It can be trusted to deliver you
exactly where you need to be.
I am not here by chance. 
I am here to say it happened to me.

Thinking I might die,
after all other options had been exhausted,
I gave birth to that most holy of
unwanted children:
She we can only name Surrender.

The Truth is what it means
when a women who nearly drowned
remembers she is the ocean.
